Location and Accommodations
This summers event will take place in the beach town of Arillas Corfu Greece.
This is one of the most beautiful parts of Corfu with incredible beaches and spectacular bay views. When you take a break and put down your instrument this is what you can look forward to!! This area is quiet enough to rest up and recharge your batteries and just a short walk to the beach. The nearby towns of Sidari, Roda, and Acharavi can provide the action and that extra nightlife that you may crave.

Corfu Rock School is the creation of Mike Piescki and Simon Wyett. Mike is a NYC drummer who has worked as a professional musician and music educator in the United States and abroad. He has over 25 years experience performing in Greece and on the island of Corfu. He has provided instruction to private drumming students and conducted rhythm section Master Classes for over 30 years. Mike is a University of Miami, School of Music graduate and has previously worked in the New York Public School system . He is a licensed District and Building Level Administrator holding both SAS and SDA certifications as well as certification in Education and Music. Mike is currently recording and performing in and around New York City, Tri-State area. Mike proudly endorses Vic Firth drumsticks, Remo drumheads, D'Angelico Guitars and Audix Microphones
Simon is a multi-talented musician, artist, craftsman, sound engineer and designer who has provided technical advise and hands on sound installations for some of the leading studios in the UK. Simon has operated several successful music related businesses in the UK and in Corfu. As a resident of Arillas, Corfu Greece for the last 24 years, Simon Wyett has gained notoriety for his expertise in the design and production of Wyett Custom Guitars, electrical engineering, construction of breathtaking villas, and every aspect of music on the island. Corfu Rock School came out of a wish to share the combined beauty of Corfu and our passion for music. We can't think of a better way to spend a summer vacation. We know you'll agree.
